Christmas Snow 2021

Those little Anna Birds that stay the winter months here in Oregon. Need our constant watch over the nectar. I have three rotating feeders.

My recommended favorites:
easy to clean,
no yellow flower to mess with.

Of course all 6 of our 7 feeders are hung with, Out on. Limb pulley system.

Hummingbird Nectar Recipe
4 cups boiling water
1 cup S & H Sugar (during the Winter I add an extra tablespoon)
(quality sugar doesn't fog up as fast)

Pour boiling water with Sugar, mix throughly, cool completely and fill clean hummingbird feeder.

Please do not use pre-package nectar
it is filled with dyes and preservatives.

Must have the "little" brush to clean the holes

We had a smart Squirrel figure it out. Cost us a broken squirrel baffle & our largest feeder. So we foiled his plans and made a squirrel-proof model. 3/32 black VPC covered cable. Out of the seven Out on a Limb hanging in our yards, we only had to replace one. Go Figure? The squirrel hasn't bothered the other feeders.
