Since sharing OOAL limb with you: We have had two customer concerns regarding "frayed" paracord. The culprit in our experience has always been SQUIRRELS. 

Please see the listing picture of our Oregon ICE STORM 2021 which did not damage Out on a Limb, we are still using that same OOAL today. 

Parachute cord is a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of US parachutes during WWII. The components of all-nylon Paracord make it weather resistant, meaning it will not rot or mildew. The strength of this compact cord gets the 550 term from its ability to withstand 550 lbs.

However, it is subject to any sharp object...

Fraying has happened and so we offer a replacement part as a service to our customers and feathered friends.

Since sharing OOAL limb with you: We have had two customer concerns regarding "frayed" paracord. The culprit in our experience has always been SQUIRRELS. 

Please see the listing picture of our Oregon ICE STORM 2021 which did not damage Out on a Limb, we are still using that same OOAL today. 

Parachute cord is a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of US parachutes during WWII. The components of all-nylon Paracord make it weather resistant, meaning it will not rot or mildew. The strength of this compact cord gets the 550 term from its ability to withstand 550 lbs.

However, it is subject to any sharp object...

Fraying has happened and so we offer a replacement part as a service to our customers and feathered friends.
